Long, lean and an obvious right side, Ava is a tall option whose defense-first mentality got our attention at the Stock Up Showcase. I felt like the setting she had to work with couldn’t show off her ability to attack high, but I DID notice her ability to line up and block most outsides well once full-play started. Raw but athletic, she’ll be playing for Rev’s 17-1 this coming spring as their primary right side. With a little more training on footwork and arm speed, she should be tough to deal with once January comes around.
