About Lily

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm very coachable and eager to learn and improve in all areas, including sports. In general my style is very collaborative, and I really enjoy the team bonding aspect of volleyball, along with the fierce competition. I have a good sense of humor - it helps me face challenges.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Academic Honor Roll - 9th grade (2024-25)

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership (team captain of my 14s team) is something I feel I'm good at, as well as teamwork. Cheering from the bench and supporting the rest of the team is as important as skill on the court. Setting a good example for my fellow team mates and supporting them matters to me. Also, I've learned how to learn from setbacks and errors in order to improve my playing skills and remain resilient.

What type of college are you looking for?

Looking for a school where I can combine competitive athletics and challenging academics (Open to all levels - DI, DIII or DIII). I would like a school where I can play on a strong team and build camaraderie, and I would like to meet people from diverse places and learn new-to-me concepts and ideas.
