Catalina Bianchi Ramos Catalina Bianchi Ramos L GA has become one of the more interesting multi-phase setters in the state. Catalina’s setter/DS combination shows up in the way she stays involved. She’s not a player who needs the rally to begin with her standing at target. She can defend first, transition and still get the offense organized. That ability to recover from the first contact is incredibly valuable for setters because opponents will intentionally try to make them play defense.

Her serving changes her presence even more. Catalina can dictate the first contact before she ever has to manage the second. That’s a player influencing both ends of the offensive sequence rather than waiting for the pass to determine what kind of rally she’s going to have. ~ S.Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga
