These players, whether on JV or varsity, will make a huge impact on their team this year. This club season, she led her team to big successes and will do the same for harmony grove. I watched her in person for the first time at nationals and was highly impressed and can see her playing at the high collegiate level. Baber is great at swinging hard line around the block and hitting the deep corners. She puts up an impressive block especially for her height. She sets her self up and sees the attackers elbow down making her ready to pick up the tip. She has a pretty consistent serve receive, almost always keeping her team in system. Her out of system sets to the pins are also really consistent, giving her multiple assist. She sees who the greatest option is based on where the block is set up and reverses the flow at the net really well. Her sets to the pin are some of the best in the state. She sets herself up perfectly and is very scrappy. It is very hard to get the ball past her. She is a very aggressive DS/L always going for the ball. She does a great job at holding her platform giving her very consistent angle passing.
