About London

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’d say my gameplay style is aggressive but smart. I like to go for powerful hits and strong serves, but I also try to read the court and make quick decisions. I'm super competitive, so I hustle for every ball and always try to keep the energy high for my team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m super competitive and hardworking—I don’t like to give up, no matter what the score is. I’m also really supportive of my teammates and try to bring positive energy on and off the court. I take feedback seriously because I always want to get better, and I’m the kind of person who’ll stay late to work on something if I know it’ll help the team.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I’m involved in a chorus club at school, which has helped me build confidence and take on more responsibility. As for awards, I’ve received a couple of academic honors like Honor Roll and a leadership award from school, which meant a lot because it recognized the work I do off the court too.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've definitely developed strong teamwork and communication skills from playing volleyball—working together and trusting each other is key. I’ve also grown a lot as a leader, especially when it comes to encouraging teammates and staying positive during tough games. Off the court, I’ve been involved in some community service through school and our team, which has helped me stay grounded.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yeah, one of the biggest challenges I’ve faced was not being able to play for part of the club season due to joining a club that did not align with my needs. It was tough not being able to play the sport I love but it really taught me patience and mental toughness. I focused on staying positive and choosing an organization that aligned with my morals and goals.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college with a strong volleyball program where I can keep growing as a player, but also a school that has good academics. I want a place where the coaches and team feel like family, and where I can balance my sport and my studies. I'd also love a campus with good vibes and school spirit—somewhere that feels like home.
