Carroll has played some libero during club season, but still mainly plays defense on a loaded 15 Elite team. Carroll hustles on defense and keeps her arms aimed toward the net while forming walls around balls for crisp two to three-point passes. Carroll executes bump and overhead passes and provides great net coverage. In high school, Carroll has a good vertical jump to pound balls over and around double blocks. She takes sound steps toward the net and records solid four to four crosses and gap shots. Carroll mixes in nice off shots.

Carroll (pictured) won the Kentucky High School Volleyball Coaches Association 13th Region Player of the Year honors for a reason. Carroll is dynamic in every way. When Corbin needs a big kill, Carroll delivers. She can pound crosses on go routes and sharp hits to the three zone. Carroll makes sound in-air adjustments. She’s also a solid defender. Carroll had 407 kills, 326 digs and 41 aces, helping Corbin go 26-14 and make it to the 2A State Tournament.

Carroll is listed as a defensive specialist on the club team website with four outsides listed. Corbin head coach Krystal Jones is high on her defensive skills. She reads hitters well and has a solid platform to make great two to three-point passes. Carroll will make the most of any chances she gets to swing if needed. Jones said she places balls well, has a strong swing and reads defenses better than any player she’s ever coached. Carroll had 407 kills, 326 digs and 41 aces, helping Corbin go 26-14 and make it to the 2A State Tournament.

Carroll has a quick arm swing, has great ball placement and does a great job reading defenses. Carroll is especially tough on shoots and crosses. Carroll can power balls through sound double blocks with a high vertical jump. Carroll is also a solid defender. Carroll leads the Redhounds with 232 kills on the season to go with 164 digs.

Carroll has a bright future ahead of her after making an impact from the outside for the Redhounds this past season. Carroll makes good passes on defense then quickly transitions to offense. She can hit balls hard on one play then off blockers and out of bounds on the next play. She constantly finds creative ways to put balls down. Carroll had 223 kills, 233 digs and 60 aces, leading the Redhounds to a 28-8 record, a 50th District championship and 13th Region runner-up finish.
