Sarah Morton, 2022, 5’5, L, Munster (IN), Michio 16 National
During the 2019 high school season, Morton had 10 digs and 12 service aces while playing in 17 matches. Her agility and quickness across the sidelines gives the Michio 16 National team a defensive player to rely on.
Katie Johnson Katie Johnson DS/L IL , 2022, L, St. Ignatius, Chicago Elite
Johnson makes quality defensive plays and hits the floor for every play. Watching her during the high school season, she plays at a highly competitive level. She keeps St. Ignatius in matches when they are up against a very offensive team. Definitely a player to keep your eyes on.
Molly King Molly King DS/L IL , 2022, L, Marist, First Alliance
When Marist graduates student-athletes, there are always others waiting to step into the lineup. King is no exception as she is ready for the varsity ranks. First Alliance gives her the opportunity to play, grow and be a stunning back row asset.
Kara Erdman, 2022, 5’7, L, Forreston, VC United
VC United is definitely a program on the move and Erdman is one of the reasons they are a team to watch. She knows her teammates well, lineup with the block and is able to overplay the defense. If Forreston can line up an offense around her, look for them to be competitive come the fall season.
Amanda Cleary, 2022, L, Sky High 16 Black
In a very competitive Sky High age bracket, Cleary brings her skills to the black team. She is known for a solid base and platform with good lateral movement during intense game play. One of the mainstays of success for the program.
Elianna Ceferin Elianna Ceferin 5'6" | DS/L IL 5’6, L Plainfield North, Club One
Ceferin is able to read the block, react and be exactly where she needs to be to make the play, Plainfield North will be strong again come fall and look for Cerefin’s experience from Club One to play a part in it.
