About Jordan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I first fell in love with volleyball when I started playing rec. in 2nd grade. What started as a fun activity with friends has transformed into a passion for the game. I love blocking and surprising the competition. As I middle, I know my role but continue to develop and practice other positions. I would like to and working on to being well rounded player that could go in at any position.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have been called a bit of an introvert on the court but I think it's because i am focused in the moment. I'm a hard worker and do what I can to achieve my goals. I'm responsible and a determined player. My dad likes to tell the story of me going up to a college coach after their game to introducing myself and tell them I was going to play for them in a few year. Set Goals!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

NCL - National Charity League

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I'm always looking to develop and grow on and off the court. I think leadership and great teamwork is important for volleyball and in life. I've been a part of National Charity League with my mom and my family organizes a yearly trip to Tijuana for community service to help assist building houses with Esperanza organization. I'll be attending for the 2nd time this year.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In volleyball, the biggest challenges I have had are having rolled my ankle twice during play. One early on in rec ball and my Freshman year on the JV team. I was able to recover quickly both times and now where ankle supports full time while playing. I

What type of college are you looking for?

I looking for a college when I can excel in my interest in marketing and also be able to contribute to their volleyball team. Volleyball is part of my life and I would love to be able to continue to play as long as possible.
