When it’s a tight or off set, she uses the set to score high off the blocker’s hands instead of trying to save or manage the ball.

Another aspect she is continuing to grow in is her ability to read the block. Lexi is adjusting her swings with pace and direction when she sees holes in the defense. In several of the matches I saw her play in, she did a great job of executing and scoring down the line or into the angle, depending on what the block was giving her. Her awareness as an attacker is not only continuing to elevate her as a player, but also her team’s offensive abilities.
