Junior Dig Leaders In The 2025 Season

Schiller is getting to every ball and is coming off an impressive 31-dig showing in a three-set sweep of Ravenna.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Jenna Schramer, Vicksburg</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Schramer is already up to a career-high in digs for a season with <strong>459 digs </strong>this fall. She's really been locked in and seeing the ball well. Her season-high includes 30 digs in a five-set match with Plainwell.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Victoria Burnham, Lutheran North</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Burnham is having a breakout season for Lutheran North with <strong>438 digs </strong>in her junior year this fall. Burnham put up a season-high just last week with 36 digs in a match with Wixom St. Catherine over three sets of play.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Reese Booms, Harbor Beach</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Harbor Beach junior has been a machine in the back row. She's up to <strong>405 digs </strong>despite not playing in as many matches as her peers. Booms has double-digit digs in all but one match this year, including a season-high 38 in a match with Sandusky early in the year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Lia Soletner, Laingsburg</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Soletner has been a big asset for Laingsburg this fall, as she has <strong>394 digs</strong>, already surpassing her total from last season. Her play was highlighted by a 33-dig performance in a five-set win over Ithaca last month.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='454376' first='Blair' last='Russow'], Bedford</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Russow had a great sophomore season for Bedford with 607 digs, and she has continued to build on that this fall with <strong>385 digs </strong>thus far in 2025. Earlier this month, Russow was a big key to Bedford besting Saline in five sets with a 33-dig performance.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='801607' first='Ella' last='Soules'], Newaygo</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Soules has stepped up her game and taken on a bigger defensive role with the team this fall. She's at <strong>350 digs </strong>on the season and has recorded at least 20 digs in four different matches this fall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Gee Lillian, Grant</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Tigers are having a solid season and Lillian has been a big reason why with her <strong>337 digs</strong> in the back row. She set a season-high in kills early in the year with 32 against Newaygo, but has been steadily in double digits throughout the season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Bradie Lehman, Concord</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lehman surpassed the 1,000-dig career mark this fall and is at <strong>335 digs </strong>in 2025, as she approaches 400 very quickly. Lehman is on a run of hitting 13 digs or more in five of her last six matches.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='835029' first='Logan' last='Thomas'], Ionia</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Thomas is helping Ionia have a breakout year as a program. She has put up <strong>329 digs </strong>this fall to be one of the driving forces behind the Bulldogs' success. Her top performance this year was 26 digs in a four-set win over Charlotte.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
