We loved watching Riley Sebastiani Riley Sebastiani 5'3" | DS/L Desert Vista | 2028 State AZ play defense because she truly elevated everyone around her. She was the type of player whose impact extended far beyond the stat sheet. Riley showed the ability to defend balls from every area of the court, using her instincts, range, and anticipation to consistently keep rallies alive. What impressed us most was her ability to read attackers and position herself early, allowing her to make difficult defensive plays look easy.

Just as impressive was the energy she brought to every point. Riley communicated effectively with her teammates, helped organize the backcourt, and was constantly encouraging those around her. She celebrated big plays, supported her hitters, and brought an infectious enthusiasm that never seemed to fade throughout the showcase. Her intentional coverage, defensive awareness, and relentless effort made her a player coaches can trust in pressure situations. Riley’s combination of court presence, leadership, and defensive IQ makes her a valuable asset to any lineup.
