Makenzie will quickly become one of the more heavily followed recruits heading into the June 15th contact period. She has all the physical tools and technique that top level D1 programs are going to look for in a pin hitter.
For starters offensively, she plays with a confident and aggressive mentality while still maintaining efficiency throughout matches. She attacks with good range, elevates well, and has shown the ability to score from both the front and back row. Beyond the offense, her passing and defensive consistency make her a true six-rotation player who rarely leaves the court.
The long-term upside is what continues to separate her from many players in the class. She already has the physical tools and skill set that translate well to the next level, but still has plenty of room for growth as she develops. With June 15th nearing, she is expected to receive strong interest from Division I schools looking for a dynamic outside hitter who can contribute in all six rotations and elevate the level of play around her.
