<p>Earlier this morning, the Kansas Class of 2029 rankings were updated and published. Those rankings now include 175 total athletes and feature 65 athletes making their debuts in the rankings.</p>

<p>Two factors play a large part in the early rankings process.</p>

<p>First, did I see the athlete play, and secondly, does the athlete have public stats available?</p>

<p>Athletes are encouraged to claim their <strong>"FREE"</strong> Prep Dig Profiles and add to them account photos, video highlights, and contact information so that college coaches subscribing to our family of Prep Network websites can reach out to them.</p>

<p>Here is a look at eight athletes joining the rankings for the first time.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='888442' first='Sophie' last='Salmon']</strong>, 6'1”, MB/RS, Shawnee Mission Northwest, '29</p>

<p>Salmon debuts in the No. 35 position. She finished third in kills for the Cougars as a freshman. She tallied 224 kills in 83 sets played. She also impacted opponents hitting with 49 blocks during her first high school season.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='895361' first='Sadie' last='Hubbard']</strong>, 6'1”, MB, Bishop Miege, '29</p>

<p>Hubbard is ranked No. 36 overall. She has played a factor in the success of the Class 4A State Tournament-bound Stags. She has recorded 62 kills and 53 blocks in 72 sets played.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='895283' first='Turner' last='Rentschler']</strong>, 5'10”, MB, Smith Center, ‘29</p>

<p>Rentschler joins the rankings at No. 37 overall. She posted solid numbers as a freshman for Smith Center. She registered 214 kills in 88 sets played.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='881259' first='Avery' last='Weibel']</strong>, 5'11”, OH/MB, Goodland, '29</p>

<p>Goodland's Weibel parlayed a solid freshman season into being ranked No. 38 overall. She was one of four athletes (the only freshman) to record 200-plus kills for Goodland. She recorded 222 kills in 86 sets played. She also finished with 55 blocks and led the team in aces with 67.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='888432' first='Mindy' last='Tillotson']</strong>, 5'10”, MB, Goddard, '29</p>

<p>Goddard's Tillotson joins the rankings at No. 39 overall. She is a blocking machine for the Lions. She finished her season with 57 blocks and 67 kills in 80 varsity sets played in her first high school campaign.</p>

<p>The Chargers Harding debuts in the rankings at No. 40 overall. Harding was among the state leaders in blocks with 99 in 90 sets played. She also tallied 85 kills for the Chargers.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='895284' first='Allie' last='Dumler']</strong>, 5'9”, S/RS, Blue Valley (Randolph), '29</p>

<p>Blue Valley's Dumler enters the rankings in the No. 41 slot. She dished out 570 assists for the Rams this fall and was among the state leaders in aces from a freshman with 46 in 93 sets played.</p>

<p>Carr debuts in the No. 42 slot. She finished among the state leaders in assists with 483 in 84 sets during her first high school season.</p>
