Salmon is another pin player who caught my attention with how well she handled herself during passing drills. At 6-foot-2, that ability is huge as she continues developing into an opposite who has the potential to stay on the floor for six rotations. Offensively, I liked the aggressiveness she showed with her swings and her willingness to attack with intent. That same mentality showed up at the net, where Salmon wasn’t afraid to take advantage of an overpass and put the ball straight to the floor. With her size, offensive mindset, and developing back-row skills, she has the tools to impact the game in multiple ways.

Salmon continues to build off her extraordinary club campaign with Dynasty 16 Black. We’ve covered her show-stopping right-side power on the Open circuit before, but Salmon’s six-rotation prowess took a step forward at the Stock Up Showcase. This was a perfect venue to see Salmon’s game-changing ability as a server, defender, and vocal leader. Opposites can do a lot more than bring the heat.

Dynasty isn’t just known for its savvy setters, either. Salmon has perpetuated the strong tradition of terminal opposites in the club’s arsenal, all while producing unparalleled first-year impact on the Kansas prep scene. She set the bar for nearly all Sunflower State freshmen with 2.7 kills per set on a 0.362 clip. That high-efficiency style has immediately translated to the club arena.
