How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a dedicated setter with a versatile skill set developed through indoor and beach volleyball. I regularly compete with older and male players to gain experience in different positions and game styles. My strengths include precise setting, adaptability, and leadership on the court. I embrace challenges, stay calm under pressure, and continuously seek opportunities to grow as a player.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a competitive and growth-oriented mindset. I embrace challenges, adapt to different roles, and stay calm under pressure. I value teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement, always seeking opportunities to learn and elevate my game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a dedicated setter currently playing for Blue Ridge Volleyball Club in Virginia. My versatility comes from experience in beach volleyball and competing in tournaments with older and male players to improve my skills and game IQ. Academically, I strive for excellence and have earned outstanding awards, demonstrating commitment both on and off the court.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed strong leadership skills as a setter by directing the offense and keeping the team organized during high-pressure moments. Leading the team has taught me how to communicate clearly, make quick decisions, and inspire confidence in my teammates.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I faced the challenge of stepping into a leadership role as a setter while playing with older and more experienced athletes. At first, it was intimidating to direct the offense and communicate confidently, but I worked hard to earn trust and lead effectively. This experience taught me how to stay composed under pressure and guide my team with confidence.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that offers strong academics and a challenging curriculum, along with a competitive volleyball program. I want an environment where I can excel in the classroom while continuing to grow as an athlete. I value schools that provide a supportive team environment, opportunities for leadership, and a vibrant campus community where I can thrive both on and off the court.
