<p class="text-gray-700">The Cougars had a new head coach, but the success of recent years did not stop thanks to players like Meggs. Meggs is a lefty that takes nice swings in both the front and back row. Meggs hits balls off and through blockers. Meggs can adjust in mid-air to push balls to open parts of the floor. Meggs makes sound passes then makes smooth transitions to offense. Meggs had 335 kills and 241 digs to help Somerset Christian go 26-9, win the 48th District championship and drive to the 12th Region semifinals.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Montgomery played a big part in Warren East's offensive attack this season. Montgomery angles balls to the back line away from defenders and hits balls off blocks for big points. Montgomery also forms nice double blocks with teammates. Montgomery had 261 kills, 32 solo and 18 assisted blocks this past fall, helping the Raiders go 26-11, win another 15th District crown and drive to the 4th Region semifinals.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Steele (pictured) gave the Indians a formidable option on the outside. Steele puts the right amount of touch on balls to put them down. Steele can also pound balls down the lines. Steele had 223 kills to help the Indians go 22-13 and win another 44th District crown.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Raley helped revive the proud Colonels program with her hustle and leadership. Raley keeps a lot of plays alive going after balls aggressively, yet under control. Raley involves a number of hitters in the Henderson County attack. Raley had 554 assists, 269 digs and 60 aces for the Colonels, helping them go 28-10 and win the 6th District and 2nd Region crowns.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Ganns made a lot of things happen at the net for the Admirals. She puts down overpassed balls with authority. Ganns takes sound swings from the pins and middle. Ganns sends balls to the side lines and corners regularly for big points. Ganns also times up her blocks well. Ganns had 121 kills and 48 aces to help Danville make it to the 12th Region Tournament.</p>
