Beatty (pictured) has been a steady contributor for the Bulldogs since entering high school and continues to better balls in different ways. Beatty faced a lot of good hitters in the Open Division in club and it shows. She handles crosses with precision. Beatty has good range to hustle forward to dig up softer hit roll shots and tips. Beatty can lunge to the sides or dive when needed, but still remain under control. Beatty also has a nice line drive serve. Beatty had 497 digs and 51 aces in the fall, helping the Bulldogs win a fifth straight 43rd District crown and drive back to the 11th Region title game.

Reckers brings it to the court every time she touches it in practice and games. If balls are close to her, Reckers will dig them up. She makes simple passes and adjusts well to angles from lefthanded hitters. She uses her range to move to tipped balls and keep plays alive. Reckers continues to improve at reading hitter tendencies. Reckers adds in a deceptive spinning serve that throws off defensive specialists. Reckers had 490 digs and 41 aces to help Newport Central Catholic win 19 games in a season for the first time since 2017.

It is hard to put balls down on Bevington in the back row. She uses a good platform to square up balls to jumpstart the Franklin County attack. Bevington only lunges when needed and handles a variety of hard and soft shots. Bevington had 312 digs and 35 aces to help the Flyers go 22-16 and make it back to the 11th Region Tournament.

Allen gives the Blackcats sound defensive play. She moves her feet well then sets up beating balls to spots for smooth passes. Allen can range to her left on shoves to side lines and excel at both overhead and bump passes. Allen backs up blockers well and serves aggressively. Allen had 180 digs for Prestonsburg this past fall.

Buzick put together a nice season for the Tigers. She lines up well defensively and handles crosses and softer shots with good form. Buzick backs up and puts her hands up high to reach balls going over her for sound overhead passes. Buzick can also lunge when needed to make controlled bump passes. Buzick had 303 digs for the Tigers this past fall.
