Brinegar (pictured) gave the Engineers the balance they needed to bring home the first district championship in program history in the fall. Brinegar has a sound vertical to take solid rips. She makes smooth transitions from defense to offense. Brinegar showed she can handle well-struck balls in the back row. She only slides when needed. Brinegar also has a tough serve. Brinegar had 144 kills, 171 digs and 45 aces for Estill County in the fall.

Baker hopes to turn into a force in the mountains with her athleticism. She smacks balls to different parts of the court and uses angles well to take advantage of opposing blockers. Baker makes sound passes then makes quick transitions into her offensive form. Her spin on serves throws off opposing defenders.

Hochstetler gave the Eagles balance on the outside to propel them to the 14th Region championship game. Hochstetler has a tough cut shot on the go routes in addition to hard crosses. Hochstetler will try to tip balls into the donut if the opening presents itself to throw off defenders. Hochstetler makes sound passes and makes things happen with her serving. Hochstetler had 194 kills, 77 digs and 56 aces in the fall, helping Leslie County go 26-9 and win a second straight 54th District championship.

Asher showed great signs during club ball and the spring and it showed with a sound season for the Commodores. She consistently mixes up her locations so defenders can't key on one zone. She'll rip it hard on one play then tip it to shallow parts of the court on another. Asher also makes nice first touches and is a strong server. Asher had 188 kills, 226 digs and 59 aces for Perry County Central in the fall.

Bird had an outstanding freshman campaign for the Cats in the fall. She has such a good wrist snap that balls come flying off her hands and sometimes off blocks and out of bounds. Bird sends tough line hits and crosses over the net. She'll position her body to shove balls to the shallow one zone only to quicky adjust and send it to the four zone. She makes precise passes and smokes serves to different parts of the court. Bird had 312 kills, 270 digs and 52 aces for the Cats in the fall, helping them go 21-10 and win the 55th District championship for the first time since 2021.
