Northern Kentucky Junior Volleyball 16s Teams Overview

Thus, it led to a lot of shuffling, but these two teams still hope to battle opponents on a daily basis.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Blue</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Highlands sophomore middle blocker [player_tooltip player_id='608333' first='Bella' last='Thomas'] has seen a good bit of playing time on varsity in her first two seasons in high school. The other two returning players from last year's 15 Blue team are St. Henry sophomore setter/right side hitter [player_tooltip player_id='907179' first='Josie' last='Folzenlogen'] and Conner sophomore defensive specialist [player_tooltip player_id='780003' first='Lillian' last='Kamm'].</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Beechwood middle blocker Charlotte Grubb and St. Henry outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='627611' first='Kate' last='Seiter'] moved up from the 15 White squad from last year leaving the team with five new players to the club. The other defensive specialist is Cooper sophomore Reagan Johnson with McNicholas sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='582235' first='Leighton' last='Minnich'] doing some setting. Anderson sophomore Sofia Roedig gives the team size on the outside with Ryle sophomore Blakely White also taking swings from the outside.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Anna Ficker is the team's head coach. The team opens the season in Junior Volleyball Academy Rock N Rumble Tournament in Cleveland on January 17 through 19.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>White</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The three players with significant varsity experience on this team are Ludlow middle hitter London Vogt, Newport Central Catholic outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='882125' first='Miley' last='Wolf'] and Conner sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='888345' first='Addy' last='Back']. Back played defensive specialist for Conner, but looks to set on this team. In addition to Wolf and Back, the other two returning players from last year's 15 White team are Highlands setter Carson Jacobs and Ryle defensive specialist Gracelyn Charais.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Two players that moved up from the 15 Black team are Notre Dame sophomore defensive specialist McKenna Bibbins and Highlands sophomore outside McKinley Jones. However, she may be primarily setting for this club. Minnich does a good job running the offense, mixing up ones and fives. Minnich also puts up sound back sets. She has puts the right amount of touches to angle balls off blockers. She makes things happen out of system. Wolf can also make sound passes.
