Natalie Miles Natalie Miles 5'9" | OH Jay County | 2021 State IN , ’21, 5-9, OH, Munciana 17 Pandas, Jay County High School
From a school we don’t normally see on the volleyball landscape as “elite” in Indiana comes a spitfire of a player in Miss Miles. She’s springy, light on her feet, and hits every shot from every tempo and location along the net. Add to it that she’s a six-rotation player, and you’ll find that her emotional lift and relentlessness has carried her from National and Regional teams in previous years to the top 17s team at Munciana. This is a do-everything kid that will definitely be an asset to someone come August of ’21.
Natalie Lostutter Natalie Lostutter 5'9" | RS Floyd Central | 2022 State IN , ’22, 5-9, RS, Union 16 Asics, Floyd Central High School
From a northern school in the state to one of the southernmost schools, Miss Lostutter is a banger from a traditional volleyball powerhouse that has known nothing but winning at Union. She’s a recent transfer from small-school Christian Academy of Indiana, who is another that is consistently competing for state championships. If you need her to, she can take over a match in both the attack and defense.
Naija Gadis Naija Gadis 5'8" | S Brebeuf | 2023 State #196 Nation IN , ’23, 5-8, S, Team Indiana Elite 15, Brebeuf Preparatory School
Naija is as athletic as they come in the setting position. She currently runs a 6-2 at the club level, but can easily run a 5-1 if you let her. Her high, soft hands, consistent location and tempo and all-around volleyball smarts help her immensely overcome an apparent lack of size at this level. Naija has known nothing but open-level competition since picking up the game a few years ago, and should continue to progress in years to come.
Noelle Zingraf Noelle Zingraf 5'5" | DS/L Roncalli | 2022 State IN , ’22, 5-5, DS, Academy 16 Elite Phoenix, Roncalli High School
Roncalli has always, and I mean ALWAYS, pumped out multiple passers each year at the elite level. I personally have coached two of them to go on to upper-level college programs. Noelle is no exception. She primarily (and comfortably) played left back for Academy’s 16-2s, but can play any position and don the special jersey as well. One thing that stood out to me at President’s Day in Saint Louis back in February was her ability to control every contact she had on the ball. Every touch was settable, and every touch was kept on her side. Don’t let this kid get out of your sight!
Nicole Wilkinson Nicole Wilkinson 5'11" | MB New Castle | 2021 State IN , ’21, 5-11, MB, Munciana 17 Pandas, New Castle High School
A two-time defending state champion in volleyball, Nicole is a reliable middle who can do whatever you need at the next level. She is currently an M2, but I like her ability to hit multiple tempi in multiple locations along the net. A winner who can hit anything and defend anything else as a middle? Sign me up.
