Before starting a deep dive into dual-threat hitters in the Class of 2027 and beginning to preview the Class of 2029 rankings update, the Captain wanted to show some love to some prospects who have not been featured lately.

Each of these athletes is ranked in the Kansas Class of 2027 and is coming off a solid junior season.

Part of the reason these athletes were also selected is that they still have incomplete Prep Dig Profiles. Athletes can use the link below to claim their FREE profiles. https://prepdig.com/prospect-index/.

As I have written several times before, a complete player profile goes a long way with the college coaches who subscribe to this website, and a complete profile adds to the professional, polished look I desire to see on Prep Dig Kansas. Profile pics, video highlights, and contact information included on profiles are what I look for.

It might very well take some time to sort through athletes for my next round of reports, so don't be surprised if Prep Dig Kansas is all quiet tomorrow.

On the other hand, if you check back tomorrow and there are reports, consider it like being members of the Jelly of the Month Club, as this scout is a gift that keeps on giving.

[player_tooltip player_id='566827' first='Brooke' last='Bieker'], 5'10", S, Hays, '27

Bieker is ranked No. 115 by Prep Dig Kansas. She is a versatile athlete who can contribute in multiple ways. During her junior season, she registered 423 assists, 188 kills, and 136 digs in 82 sets played. As a sophomore, she tallied 754 assists and just 54 kills. Beiker also has an accurate serve, accounting for 88 aces the past two seasons combined.

[player_tooltip player_id='809534' first='Avery' last='Gallagher'], 5'10”, MB, Spring Hill, ‘27

Gallagher is ranked No. 48 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027. She finished her junior season, second on the Broncos' roster last fall in kills. She tallied 182 kills in 88 sets played. She was also second on the team in blocks with 38.

[player_tooltip player_id='784489' first='Aubree' last='Ella Hess'], 6'2”, MB, Emporia, ‘27

Hess is ranked No. 49 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027. The college coaches who recently contacted me, looking for middles, should check out this Spartan. Hess recorded 103 kills and 38 blocks during her junior season. I saw her play twice last year and liked her reach and blocking technique.

[player_tooltip player_id='800284' first='Amyah' last='Werth'], 5'3”, DS/L, Hillsboro, ‘27

Werth is ranked No. 91 overall in the Class of 2027 rankings. I come across her name often on MaxPreps, but have yet to see her game. Hillsboro is one of the quality programs that is tough for me to see due to its location. She is a defensive wizard who cast back-to-back seasons with 600-plus digs. Through three prep seasons, she has already accumulated 1,821 career digs and 2,075 serve receptions.

[player_tooltip player_id='881252' first='Hayden' last='Short'], 5'6”, S, Goodland, ‘27

Short is ranked No. 115 overall by Prep Dig Kansas. If Hillsboro is a travel challenge, then Goodland is way off the map. However, I saw Short compete at an August practice last year on my way to Denver for a couple of Cubs/Rockies games. She went on to have a solid season as the team's varsity setter for the first time. She dished out 455 assists and made 286 digs in 88 sets played.
