Right Sides to Watch at the Tour of Texas – Stop 1

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The first big tournament of the 2025-2026 club season is just around the corner, as this weekend, the top club teams from the Lone Star State will compete in the first stop of the popular Tour of Texas in the Austin area.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the biggest events in the club calendar in the state every year, the Tour of Texas will this year begin at the Round Rock Sports Complex, where nearly 500 teams will be in action across 11 different divisions from Saturday to Monday, providing the first big test for many of them as the season starts to pick up.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The top players from Texas will be in Round Rock this weekend, and we're using the days leading up to the event's start to feature some of them. A lefty with remarkable offensive range, she should be one of their main scoring options in the event. Cameron has tremendous firepower in her left arm and can diversify a lot offensively, finding different solutions to plays. Much of her offensive efficiency comes from her excellent footwork, which allows her to quickly get off the net after attempting a block and to easily adjust to the location of sets. One of the best right side hitters in the state, she combines size, athleticism and excellent decision-making in a very special way, being a true difference-maker at the net. Pease is a reliable scorer who makes the most of her high contact point, can overwhelm opponents with her firepower and is also very smart with her shot selection. Capable of playing on both pins, she's one of the most powerful hitters in her age group and opponents typically have a hard time trying to stop her. Her versatility also shows up in her offense as she can truly score from anywhere on the court and has a vast array of shots to pick from, going with the best option more often than not. She's primarily a setter for them, but can also take on hitting duties on the right and produce at a high level. As a playmaker, she stands out for her ability to contact the ball very high up at the net and accelerate the game, while also being creative with her distribution.
