I’ve scouted Freihoefer when she’s competed for Dubuque Insanity on the club circuit and been impressed with her agility and upside. The long-armed middle hitter distinguishes herself as a defender that makes life difficult on opposing attacks. She was doing that again when I watched her lining up for Hempstead at Iowa City High early in the 2026 season. Freihoefer flows well with the action, getting herself in position to throw up an effective block and also provide an option for the setter on the attack. She gets on the top of the ball and terminates points when given the opportunity.
