Sarika’s physical foundation immediately gives her something interesting to build around. Her vertical mechanics stood out during the showcase: she organized her approach well, created lift and worked toward contacting the ball from a strong position rather than simply jumping underneath it. For a young hitter, that matters because good mechanics create more possibilities later. As Sarika becomes more comfortable recognizing the block and using different areas of the court, the same athletic ability that currently creates height can begin creating attacking variety.
