Volleyball participation continues to surge, and the talent pool is deeper than we've seen in years. That's great news for the sport — and for the athletes putting in the work.   A common question we hear is: How do players get on the radar? The process is simple, but it requires consistency — watch film, circle the name, watch in person, and repeat. College coaches are already tracking 2028 athletes, evaluating skill sets, growth potential, competitiveness, and even body language. They are identifying what fits their system and what projects long-term. She closes blocks with discipline, pressing over the tape with active hands and sealing inside seams. Her lateral footwork is efficient, allowing her to move pin-to-pin without drifting. Nelson reads the setter's shoulders well and reacts under control rather than guessing.   Offensively, she runs a fast first tempo and stays available in transition. Her approach is compact and repeatable, and she maintains a high contact point even when the pass isn't perfect. Offensively, she runs a clean first-step tempo and stays balanced through contact. Her arm swing is compact and controlled, allowing her to terminate without unnecessary error.
