Huston is an extremely athletic middle, that has the ability to exercise a ton of control. If a set is too tight or too low, she finds a way to make a play while staying out of the net and avoiding errors. I also appreciate that she doesn’t force bad swings. Her fast approach makes it hard for her opponents to set up a strong block. Huston controls her attacks, locating a variety of spots on the court and making the defense work. Defensively, Huston has a strong block the intimidates the hitter in front of her. Her footwork allows her to move swiftly in front of the hitter with time to line up directly with her shoulder forcing her to work around the block or getting a stop.
