2026 Legacy Club Profile: 18-2 ADIDAS

The setting this club season is being done by <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='261199' first='Morgin' last='Parsley'] </strong>(Oakland) and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='261202' first='Peyton' last='Lowes']</strong>. Both have been combo players that can also play the right side, which speaks to their athleticism. They each see the court really well and know where the ball needs to be placed to give their hitters a good swing. Their quick-connection ability should be a strength throughout the club season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Driven Outsides</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This group of pin hitters is easy to like, as they are all driven players that are going to leave it all on the floor. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='839889' first='Addison' last='Dunning']</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='226896' first='Madison' last='Geer'] </strong>(Hillsdale), and <strong>Tatian Williams </strong>(Edinboro) are joined by right sides <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='226942' first='Ashley' last='Verhey'] </strong>and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='747097' first='Darby' last='Crystal'] </strong>(Northwood). Dunning and Crystal come from the Davison program and were already a great 1-2 punch on the outsides that Legacy can utilize. Geer is a bulldog at the net and puts a lot into her defensive effort, while Williams and Verhey have a great mixture of shots and attack angles and can make difficult plays look rather easy.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Long Middles</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In the middle, Legacy has experienced talent in <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='226945' first='Jayla' last='Zayti'] </strong>(New Haven) and <strong>Annaliese Dunlap </strong>(Albion), as well as the lone 2027 prospect on the roster, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='450415' first='Leah' last='Green']</strong>. Zayti and Dunlap have been up against the best of the best in the state for years and each have continually improved and added facets to their game. Green is coming off a breakout year and really amped up her intensity, which gives her confidence to hold her own up this age level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Stat-Racking Liberos</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>When it comes to the back row, Legacy has some of the best you can ask for in <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='226910' first='Kayla' last='Ostrander'] </strong>(Eastern Michigan) and <strong>Lauren Chanko</strong>. Ostrander has been one of the state leaders in digs throughout her prep career, including multiple seasons with over 650 digs. She's just got a nose for the ball. Chanko was a big reason for South Lyon's breakout year. She put in the work to make big strides in her game and proved she's got the skills to play at an elite level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Expectations</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There's going to be no easy road for this Legacy team as it competes in top events, but there's still positives to see here. At Triple Crown, when the team had a rough outing in a set, they bounced back and were much more competitive in their next one. They went to the wire with some very good programs, just need to find ways to close out those tight sets. The talent is there, so I would expect to see more consistency when it comes to closing out matches over these next few months.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
