She hopes to carry over that solid play into the high school season for the Blue Devils. Haynes has a quick arm swing and good control to send balls to all six zones on the court. Haynes also does a great job mixing in tips to throw off defenders. She does not hesitate to lunge after balls if needed, but stays under control so Daviess County can mount a nice offensive attack. She does a great job angling balls off blocks for big kills. Her tips to shallow zones on the court give opponents something extra to consider. Double blocks do not slow her down as she smacks balls over and through them. She reads hitters well and darts to them beating them to their spots on the floor. She executes both the bump and overhead passes and can dig up numerous hits such as crosses and tips.
