Certain players have the feel for getting on top of the ball when they swing, creating a top-spin, downward-trajectory ball that is hard to dig up. Burrows, a middle and right side player from Lakeside High School in Seattle, is one of those players. Whether she is attacking from the middle or running a gap set out of the middle, the 6’0″ Burrows finds the top of the ball and swings away. She is a blocker with good timing and length, and does a particularly good job pressing her outside hand in when she is blocking on the right side.

Burrows is a fluid athlete with good size at the middle position- she is versatile and can score and play on the right side. The Lakeside prospect has an easy arm swing, and she has the vision and feel to see the block and score with a hard-angle hammer, deep corner short, or smart tip over the block. Burrows played for Ignite during the club season and will be a fun player to watch this fall with Lakeside.
