Five Sound 2027 DS/Liberos to Keep on Radar

Burchett makes the simple passes and is not afraid to go the ground to make saves. Burchett has a great platform on first touches. Upperman head coach Tori Permenter praised Burchett for her great communication and leadership. Permenter added Burchett got voted one the captains this past season. Burchett's ball control needs some work, but Burchett should get better there during club season with her work ethic. Hilliard lunges after balls, but keeps them under control. She has outstanding range, showing she can handle well-struck and softer hits. She moves into her defensive position quickly with her great range and athleticism. Rowe has good reflexes, consistently making the routine plays. Holt makes routine two to three-point passes. Holt does a great job reading hitters and makes good adjustments on tipped balls. Holt also consistently puts herself in good position behind blockers, making sure not to hide behind blocks. Holt also provides Riverdale with nice net backup. Holt takes good rips. Wagner makes quick adjustments on balls. She especially handles crosses and tips to the side lines with relative ease. Wagner uses a solid platform to make crisp first touches.
