2023 Standout Attackers Across Wisconsin – Part 2

This is Part 2 to our 2023 Standout Attackers. There is talent all over the state of Wisconsin, and the class of 2023 has 3 more seasons to solidify themselves in the history books. I’m searching the Badger state to make sure all areas are covered. I believe the following players are off to a hot start and should be ones to look out for throughout the next few years. She is a smart attacker who has already figured out how to score in a variety of ways. Borchardt knows when to go high and hard off the hands and when to pound the ball. [player_tooltip player_id="91862" first="Reese" last="Rogowski"] – 5’7 – Outside Hitter/Middle Blocker – Wittenberg-Birnamwood Rogowski is always moving and reading her opponent. She does a good job of making herself available to attack and hold the opposing block. She is very athletic and versatile. Duessler’s defensive play is contagious and can really spark her team’s energy level. [player_tooltip player_id="82897" first="Savannah" last="Spees"] – 5’7 – Pin Hitter - Wausau East Spees might not be the prototypical attacker height that college coaches drool over, but she makes up for that in skill and versatility. She is focused, and you can tell that Spees loves to play the game by the way she competes on the court. She has a knack for scoring in those clutch moments. Bartels is blessed with fast-twitch muscles to react and quickly move laterally.
