We dont usually get to make many articles outside of rankings that are focused on 13s but how the waves worked, we got to this weekend. We were at The Big Show in Tulsa that is hosted by UPVBC. We got to see 15 total teams from both AR and OK. Lets take a look at some players who played exceptional over the weekend.

Peak 13-2 came in as the overall TOP seed and left that same way. They smoothly handled the competition from start to finish. Thats no shocker when you have players like Cheyenne Fleming, Reagan Santos, Harper Helms and Blue Spears on the roster. All led by new BK head coach, Holly Beers.

Avery Earl Middle Blocker for Elevate 13.1. She was all over the place and was involved in lots of little plays Her true value may not show up in the stat book. The amount of soft touches she got on the defensive end as a blocker was outstanding. She also stayed involved in the offense through her work ethic in transition and about of out of system passes she forced when she attacked the ball.

Wesley Wallace Libero for Storm 13 Adidas. She was covering a ton of area in the back court. Showcase a great deal of defensive effort and pros. Her serve receive capabilities, no doubt how to make impact on her team making it to the gold bracket championships on Sunday.

Lois Benson Outside Hitter for Wave 13 Tsunami. Lois first caught our eye with a very athletic play at the net. We got to stick around and see what a well-rounded player she is. Her athleticism is definitely above average for her age. Wave has a solid player on their hands to work with. She's not just a hitter, I saw her make multiple one-handed diving digs while in transition defense.

Tennyson Brown Middle Blocker for UPVBC 13 Elite. Tennyson is tall and loves to compete. She puts up a scary good block for just the 13s division. Her ability to find empty space and score makes her an offensive threat. Most of the top teams at this age require a middle that can contribute in both phases of the game. UPVBC definitely has that on this team.

Whitley Bell Setter for Elevate 13.1. This elevate team makes sure to get the most out of their setters, Whitley being one of them. She is part of a 5-1 system that utilizes two separate sets in the same position. She rotates in as the front row option. She did a great job of getting to passes and giving her hitters opportunities. Something stood out with how well she set an out of system situations, and when she was on the move.
