Lake Stevens Big Three Top Wesco 4a Top 10 List

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="96983" first="Samaya" last="Morin"]</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="96985" first="Karli" last="Tri"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="97003" first="Michelle" last="Fast"]</strong> came oh so close to leading the Lake Stevens Vikings to their first state volleyball season in 2019.   The 2020 season will provide them, libero <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="97056" first="Piper" last="Smith"]</strong> who made the list at #10 and <strong>Tatum Smith</strong> and <strong>Maddie Iseminger</strong> who narrowly missed the Spring top 10, with their final opportunity to finish the job and win the state title they have been working towards since middle school.  </p> <p>Their first mission will be to work through a realigned Wesco 4A conference that no longer includes Monroe or Cascade who dropped to 3A classification based on their attendance numbers.   Kamiak, Jackson, Glacier Peak and Mariner will be the initial obstacles on their road to state in 2020.</p> <p>Kamiak looks to post the biggest threat in terms of overall talent.     They also included four players on the top 10 list with outside hitter <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="97016" first="Marina" last="Tukan"]</strong> leading the way.   She is joined by libero <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="97032" first="Danica" last="Pel"]</strong> and the setting duo of <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="97045" first="Camryn" last="Woodworth"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="97046" first="Adriana" last="Kimpton"]</strong>.  </p> <p>Glacier Peak will be heavily reliant on the hitting or right side <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="97033" first="Megan" last="Perry"]</strong> to make then competitive.   Jackson’s sole participant in the Spring ranking <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="97011" first="Erin" last="Ingram"]</strong> will be looking to have a big senior season as well.  </p> <p>With the truncated club volleyball season, college recruiting for Wesco athletes has been slow in coming.   Morin is committed to play beach at Grand Canyon University and [player_tooltip player_id="96985" first="Karli" last="Tri"] is going to play for coach Diane Flick at Western Washington University.   The rest of the athletes are working through the process looking
