The Can Am Classis has come and gone! This year's edition of the international clash was truly one for the books.

The Midwest teams in attendance, once again, showed up, showed out and dominated. The Premier divisions are NOTHING to slouch over. The competition within the premiers were tough and the talent in this pool of teams were high level! In the 16 Premier Division, we saw a lot of great up and coming talent take to the courts and show off what they have to offer.

Let's break it all down of who all shined the brightest. There are plenty of names to discuss, be sure to check out these athletes!

[player_tooltip player_id='846725' first='Clover' last='Nash'] - Legacy

This player in the middle could continue to really develop into a top prospect over the course of these next few months. Clover Nash is one those springy middles that looks to her speed and athleticism to really make some big net play. Nash is a constant availability in transition and her block moves have come long ways.

Anna Goustra - Legacy

Another player to have made some recent strides, Anna Goustra has really developed a sense of calm to her game. She's always been this energizer bunny in the back row, scrapping for balls left and right. But we're starting to see her game mature and be much more control. All of this to say, while still maintaining her get-after-it nature.

[player_tooltip player_id='765793' first='Maya' last='Lorenzo'] - Monsters

This is another libero that I think could really develop into a nice prospect throughout the latter parts of her prep career. Maya Lorenzo is a cerebral player in the back court. She's reading the opponent well and making the moves to own the back row. Lorenzo is very much a driving force for this Monsters squad.

Noelle Hughes - LevelUp

Keep tabs on this prospect because she is going to make a lot more waves from here on out. Only a freshman and playing up in the 16 Premier division, Noelle Hughes brings a lot of versatility to the court. From her attacking, she brings the heat from anywhere along the net. Hughes was scoring lights out this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='765789' first='Vanessa' last='Artinian'] - High Performance

You can find her from either pin and she is still just as effective. Vanessa Artinian is quite the Swiss army knife. While she's able to bring in the points from either wing, she also offers up a lot of balance with her ball control and defense. She's a smaller player with a lot of pop in her game.

Brenna McMaster - Michigan Elite

On the right side, Brenna McMaster can be a very dominating player. While this team can struggle at times, when McMaster can get ahold of the ball and rip away, this team can find great success. This was evident time and time again throughout the Can Am Classic.
