Sophie is special, not because she was imploding well over the net every set and attack. Not just due to the fact that she attacked every spot on the floor during positional drills. Not even because when she swings and makes contact with the ball, you hear it four courts over. She might be undersized as a middle, very well, a PIN, as she consistently displayed the ability to pass and move laterally. Her versatility makes her a deadly force and even scarier opponent; being able to run any set and attack with her on the floor is a treasure. Gameplay proved you cannot attack her because she is a force as a blocker, getting touches often, and blocking.
