2028s Moving Up in Rank After Impressive Club Season – Pt. II

Throughout the 2026 club season, these athletes consistently found ways to impact matches through their skill, competitiveness, versatility, and leadership. Whether it was controlling the back row, terminating key swings, running an offense, or stepping into new roles for their teams, each player left a lasting impression. The athletic jump setter does an excellent job pushing the ball to her pins, often getting sets beyond the block and creating favorable attacking situations for her hitters. She mixes up her distribution well, but also recognizes when it's time to feed a hot hand. She reads serves exceptionally well before they even cross the net, allowing her to move early and establish strong passing angles. Her ability to consistently deliver quality first contacts makes life much easier for her setter and helps her team side out efficiently. Light on her feet, she elevates well and attacks with authority, making her a difficult matchup for opposing blockers. Her high contact point and quick swing allows her to score around and over blocks, and she consistently finds ways to terminate rallies. She does an excellent job staying available offensively from all areas of the court and provides a reliable option for her setter throughout matches. What separates Kendall from many middles her age is her ability to contribute defensively after serve on defense. Rutledge provided timely blocks, improved her lateral movement, and capitalized on overpasses with authority.
