Liberos Who Shone at FAST Pre Nationals 17s Division

The libero had a strong presence on the back row, leading her team's defensive efforts with authority and consistency. Cordway-Dreier was excellent when playing defense, making the most of her strong combination of ball control, which she used to handle hard-driven swings, and agility, which came in handy when she had to chase tips and deflected shots. Very quick and technical, she was a stud on the back row for her team. Kearns took a large portion of the court in serve-receive and got the job done, keeping her team in system. When playing defense, she stood out for her excellent ball control and her intelligent positioning. Her quickness on the back row was truly impressive and helped her to the ball both in serve-receive and when playing defense. Harvey also shone with her superior ball control, digging hard-driven swings coming from both pins and generating transition opportunities for her team. The libero was probably their most consistent player, getting the job done in her zone on the back row. Andrews-Hillis' passing gave her team some stability, as she did very well when using her arms or her hands to deal with the serves that went her way.
