Gorden is a big presence on the right pin and an opposing hitter’s worst nightmare. She does a great job setting the block, getting her hands over and in the right position, and takes away the line. She showed that ability throughout the showcase, putting up numerous blocks and making attackers think twice before swinging. What also stood out was how quickly she transitions off the net to become a strong offensive weapon. Gorden has a big swing and the ability to terminate kills consistently making her a dynamic player to watch on both sides of the net.

I kept noticing Lincoln Gorden Lincoln Gorden 6'1" | RS/MB Jackson County Central | 2029 State MN ‘s front-row blocking during nationals. She closed well to both pins, pressed over the tape, and consistently took away quality angles to attack. I liked that she stayed available during transition too, running up quickly on first-tempo balls and giving her setter another option in the middle. She made a bigger impact at rallies than the stat sheet will ever show, and that’s precisely what you want from a middle blocker. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

Gorden is the kind of player who catches your eye right away when you walk up to the Kairos 15 Alpha court. With Kairos’ track record of developing high level talent, it’s no surprise to see another standout in the mix. Gorden is a right side hitter with a heavy arm and a strong presence at the net, which has made her a go to player for her team. She consistently produces on offense and does a great job slowing down opponents with her blocking. Simply put, she impacts the game every time she’s on the floor and is the type of player you remember long after you have left the court.
