Three teams from our coverage area are set to compete for a National Division title. Representing the Heart of America region are CSDP 15-1 and [program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='PVA' last=''] 15 Elite, while No Coast 15 Wave joins the field from the Gateway region. National bids are earned through regional qualification processes. In the Heart of America region, bids are typically awarded through [program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last=''] League competition, while Gateway teams earn their opportunities through a designated bid series.

CSDP 15-1 enters the tournament as the No. 14 overall seed and will open play in Pool 1. The Springfield-based club has put together an impressive season and found success competing in the USA Division at several national qualifiers. A key contributor for CSDP is outside hitter Jillian Elet, whose length, athleticism, and ability to terminate rallies make her a player opponents will need to account for throughout the tournament.

Joining them in Pool 1 is No Coast 15 Wave, the No. 32 seed in the field. The team competed in both the USA and Liberty divisions during qualifier season and secured its bid by winning an April qualifying event. Outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='948769' first='Avery' last='Key'] is one to watch. She provides consistent scoring from the pins while also finding creative ways to impact the offense through the middle with two balls. The two Missouri-area teams are scheduled to meet on the second day of competition.

[program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='PVA' last=''] 15 Elite enters as the No. 13 seed and will begin play in Pool 2. The squad challenged itself all season with a heavy Open Division qualifier schedule. Time and again, teams that compete successfully in Open but fall short of an Open bid are well-positioned to make deep runs in National, and [program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='PVA' last=''] fits that mold. Setter [player_tooltip player_id='833284' first='Jocelyn' last='Floyd'] is the engine that makes the offense go. Her athleticism allows her to create opportunities from anywhere on the court, and she is always a threat to score when she rotates to the front row.

USA Division

Three more teams from the region will compete in the USA Division, where bids can only be earned through national qualifiers.

Mavs 816 15 National earned its place in the field after a higher-level bid was passed down through the region. The team spent much of the season competing in the Liberty Division at qualifiers and enters the tournament as the No. 47 seed in Pool 1. Setter [player_tooltip player_id='959936' first='Chloe' last='Bakker'] does an excellent job distributing the offense and consistently keeps opposing defenses honest by involving her back-row attackers.

[program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='[program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last='']'] 15-2 punched its ticket to Indianapolis with a runner-up finish at the Show Me Qualifier. The team consistently placed among the top contenders in the USA Division throughout the qualifier season and enters the tournament as the No. 11 seed in Pool 8. Another standout setter to watch is [player_tooltip player_id='782452' first='Jacqueline' last='Elliott']. The long, athletic playmaker runs a fast-tempo offense and isn't afraid to be aggressive at the net.

Rounding out the field is [program_tooltip program_id='428799' first='Rockwood' last='Thunder'] 15 Thunder, which secured a Show Me provisional bid. The team enters as the No. 19 seed and will begin play in Pool 6. Rockwood competed in both the Liberty and USA divisions this season, highlighted by a fifth-place finish in Kansas City. Libero Amelia "Mia" Ollar anchors the back row. She has been a steady presence in serve-receive and is especially reliable when called upon to handle the second contact, helping keep the offense in system.

With strong seeding positions, battle-tested schedules, and several impact players throughout the lineup, each of these teams has an opportunity to make noise in Indianapolis as championship week gets underway.
