Show Me was a banner weekend for Power ‘]’s 15s competitors. While KC Power 15-1 was busy racking up six wins in 15 Open, the club’s 15-2 group clawed to a second-place finish in 15 USA. Elliott has been a centerpiece of the team’s wildly successful 2026 campaign, highlighted by top-ten finishes at MEQ and Windy City. But Show Me proved to be the peak of KC Power ‘s ascent with Elliott leading a quick, efficient offense. Aside from her ability to dish it, Elliott offers incredible physicality to maintain 15-2’s blocking strength in a one-setter system.

Another Kansas City area freshman ranked in the Top Ten is Blue Valley Northwest’s Elliott. She is a tall and long setter, so it will be interesting to see if she stays in that position or maybe she grows into an attacker. She finished with 476 assists in 65 sets played for the Ravens. She also tallied 150 digs and 56 kills. She is ranked No. 7 overall and is the third-ranked setter in her class.

Elliott was an athlete I was looking forward to seeing at this weekend’s Prep Dig Exposure Tour stop in Kansas City. A schedule in her club season has created a conflict, so she will be unable to attend. She pulled off a classy move by emailing me to let me know she would miss the event. That’s one example of how a high school athlete can network, build relationships, and increase their chances of getting exposure. Elliott finished her freshman season with 476 assists, 59 kills, and 20 blocks in 65 varsity sets. I did not see her play this past fall, and I hope to track her down this club season.
