Her platform remained strong and steady, and she consistently delivered clean first contacts that allowed her team to stay in system. What impressed me most was her ability to read hitters and position herself before the ball ever crossed the net. Meinert never gives up on a play, and because of that pushes her teammates to work hard as well. She is fast to get to any ball. Her ability to read the hitter and move around the blockers, allows her to rank up numerous digs a set and put the ball in a position for her setter and hitters to make big plays. Meinert has outstanding ball control to keep rallies going. Her positivity propels the team forward.

Racking up dig after dig, Meinert never stopped moving. Her ability to read and move in line with the hitter’s swing created many in system plays for her team that ended with a kill. She never gave up on a play and was ready to cover her hitters, defend setter dumps, and run up to get a short tip. Being the biggest cheerleader on the court, Meinert continued to push her team forward even when they were down or struggling.

Meinert owns the court and plays every game like a championship is on the line. She is dedicated and determined to get a good pass on any ball that comes her way, and she rarely lets a ball get out of system. She is quick on her feet and covers hitter and setter dumps, keeping the play alive and allowing the offense to attack again. Meinert’s positive attitude on the court keeps the team glued together throughout the night.

Meinert’s hustle and dedication during every play puts her in the position to get many touches and keep the ball alive. As a libero, she takes over the court with her communication and positivity towards her teammates. By reading the opposing offense, Meinert puts herself in a position to get the ball up in a controlled manner. Her platform control and endurance creates numerous attempts for her teammates to make plays, especially during long rallies. Serving, Meinert gets the ball over the net quickly and changes up location to catch the opposing serve receive off guard. Meinert is a tough player to swing around and makes it difficult for any team to effectively score.
