About Abbie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am athletic, nimble, and quick. I have a strong shoulder and hit shots well. I am capable of playing 6 rotations and being a hitting option in the back as well.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very funny and quick witted. I can be serious when needed and I am confident when on the court.

FFA and 4-H

I volunteer with my church and community. I have developed leadership, communication, and teamwork skills through FFA and 4-H.

What type of college are you looking for?

Div 1 and an opportunity to continue my playing career while getting an education.

The top hitting percentage player in the state this past fall, Abbie is an explosive and terminal middle that can score points in front of the setter just as easily as she can on a slide. Her athleticism looks smooth and easy, her All-State honors are no fluke, either—-her skill set transfers well at the open level of club play, even though she plays at one of the smaller schools in Indiana. Length, upper-body strength and volleyball IQ have propelled Miss Powell this far, and this coming club season should solidify her recruitment by earning multiple offers this coming summer.
