Abigail Hellen Abigail Hellen 5'9" | OH/DS/L Boulder | 2028 CO is an exceptional all around athlete whose versatility allows her to play multiple positions. As an outside hitter, she has become one of her team’s go to offensive options thanks to her smart shot selection, court vision, and ability to score in a variety of situations. Hellen is equally impactful in the back row, where her relentless defensive effort and strong ball control – developed through her beach volleyball background, make her a reliable passer in serve receive and a key piece of her team’s defense.

Hellen has a speedy arm that can create some serious problems when her timing is on. She gets up, gets on top of the ball, and can put it away when everything comes together. The best part is that you can see the work she’s putting in. Her game continues to develop, and that progress could make for a really exciting high school season. Hellen is a player I am excited to keep watching as she continues to put the pieces together.
