About Abigail

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I like to be aggressive and I play well under pressure. I’m a fighter, I don’t give up easily and I like to win.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I try to always stay positive because you never know what can happen. I want to win and I like to win, but even when we don’t win looking at what we can learn from it to get better is a win. I have been told I am very coachable. I always seek out ways I can improve.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I enjoy dance and track. I’ve been on AB Honor Roll and I’m very involved in my church and on the student leadership team there.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have always been a leader since I was little, but have learned that to be a good leader you first need to be a good follower so you can lead others well so I strive to do both. I love helping people and have served people doing various things at my church. I also love being part of a team and helping keep each other up.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I am dyslexic. It is a constant challenge. It takes me twice as long often times to do the school work others do, but I’ve tried never to let that limit me on what I try to do. I got As and Bs in all advanced classes last year, but it is a constant challenge I have to deal with.

What type of college are you looking for?

One with a good Business program and a positive atmosphere.

She may not be the biggest in size, but her energy, effort, and swing are leveled with big competitors. Abigail transitions well, is consistently putting herself in position to be an offensive option. Her swing is strong, but her true strength is found in her ability to read the defense and attack the holes on the defending side. Swing, tip, or roll, Abigail is going to attack it with intent to score.
