About Addison

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a versatile player that plays both libero/DS and setter. I take pride in being able to read the hitters on defense and make fast decisions about where the ball is going. While stepping in to set it has led me to be able to bring strong communication and have a high volleyball IQ.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a coachable and competitive player who brings positivity and calmness to the court. I stay calm while under pressure and ready to do what is needed to win. I am always looking to improve and become a better player.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am currently involved in the National Honor Society where we do 30-40 hours of community service every year. This has helped me with my time management skills and responsibility. I am also volunteering to coach a Spike Frog volleyball team of middle schoolers.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed strong leadership skills through being a Libero and a setter. Both of these roles require you to be very vocal and lead your team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I have faced is balancing academics, volleyball, and coaching. This has taught me discipline and hard work. I have balanced all of this while still maintaining a competitive GPA.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college with a strong volleyball program and a quality nursing program to reach my goal of becoming a pediatric nurse.
