Addison is a newer addition to the Wisconsin volleyball scene this year after having moved to Wisconsin earlier this year. She was a key player for DSHA’s State Championship three-peat and is now a spark of energy on Sting 17 Gold. Addison is explosive yet smart and can terminate in high-pressure situations. She only continues to impress as we have the opportunity to watch her continue to play at a high level.

Addison has made an immediate impact on volleyball in Wisconsin. Having transferred here this past year, she has since won a state championship with DSHA and now plays on arguably the top team in the state. She is a pin with a high vertical, fast arm swing, and great shot selection. Addison is not afraid to take big swings in big moments and is efficient across the front row. She is an impact player with the potential to play all six rotations.

Welcome to Wisconsin.  Addison Buckner Addison Buckner 5'9" | OH DSHA | 2026 State WI made waves as an outside hitter for DSHA enroute to their third consecutive state championship.  With her dad, Greg Buckner, joining the Milwaukee Bucks coaching staff, that brought along Addison Bucker and Abigail Buckner Abigail Buckner 5'6" | DS/L DSHA | 2026 State WI , the Buckner twins who will play at Milwaukee Sting .  Addison Buckner Addison Buckner 5'9" | OH DSHA | 2026 State WI brings a lightning type armswing on the pin where she is incredibly fast.  She is dangerous on a “go” set and knows how to use her angles as well as the block.  She will be one plenty of college coaches will have an eye on in about a month when the live period opens up over MLK weekend. 

Welcome to Wisconsin!  Buckner is a new addition to the Milwaukee area with her father, Greg Buckner, joining the coaching staff with the Milwaukee Bucks.  Addison and her twin sister Abigail Buckner Abigail Buckner 5'6" | DS/L DSHA | 2026 State WI played a part in the third straight state championship for DSHA.  Addison Buckner Addison Buckner 5'9" | OH DSHA | 2026 State WI is a 5’10 outside who is absolutely electric in her ability to score points.  She is a high flyer with a fast arm that can hit a variety of angles.  Her final swing on Saturday sealed the deal for the Dashers where she was reaching high and snapping cross court to put the exclamation mark on championship point.  She will be playing for Milwaukee Sting this upcoming 2025 club season. 

Addison was a high-flying pin for DSHA, taking the big rip that secured them their third straight state championship. She had 13 kills throughout the 4-set match. Addison’s intangibles were just as valuable as the points she earned. She was focused and hungry to win. She was also a huge energizer. Addison really balanced her competitive nature while bringing a lot of energy and amping up her team.

Addison has been an explosive addition to a talented DSHA team. She is second on the team in kills and ranks pretty high on the stat line for other areas of the game as well. Addison is an energizer on the court and a player who has already had a massive impact in arguably the top program in the state.
