The class of 2032 label next to her name was irrelevant by the time the first scrimmage segment of the Prep Dig Up Next SoCal Showcase was finished. The setting was very intelligent, the footwork was efficient, and the communication she provided her hitters throughout the event reflected a player who already understands that running an offense requires building trust as much as delivering the ball accurately. She stopped her feet before release consistently and the sets came out smoothly and that gave her attackers real looks rather than balls they had to adjust to. As I was watching the setter group throughout the day my evaluation of her was exactly what she proved to be…a legitimate prospect regardless of graduation year. She will be fun to watch over the next few years.
