Janes (pictured) has played in so many fast-paced club games over the years and has used it to her advantage for the Panthers. She tries to set hitters at high contact points so they can do a number of hard and soft hits over and around blockers. Janes adds in nice jumps on her sets for extra strength. Janes is also deceptive sending setovers to the 10-foot line if she sees the opening. Opponents can not tell where balls are going because Janes does not lean while setting balls.

Janes has had a great club season setting for UA Black 16. Janes makes quick decisions involving multiple hitters. She finds different ways to surprise defenders on second hits, including setovers. She does not give away where the ball is going on her sets. Janes is especially tough on the 31s and jump sets.

Janes does a great job getting a number of hitters involved in the offense. She does not lean on her sets thus giving away the ball’s direction. Janes has a nice jump set and shoot set. Janes catches defenders off guard with setter dumps and hits on the second passes. Janes produces in every aspect of the game. Janes had 1,058 assists, 194 digs, 112 kills, 38 solo blocks, 15 assisted blocks and 51 aces for Elizabethtown in the fall, helping the Panthers go 29-11, win the 17th District and finish 5th Region runner-up.

Janes had a monster season setting the ball as a junior and hope to keep the good habits going forward during club and into her senior season. Janes has a great jump set forward and backward leading to more accuracy. Janes also does a great job going hard after balls.
