Rossum does it all and as a lefty it makes her even more dangerous. She has the height to be a dangerous block and the strength to put some real pace on the ball. I love the pace she will run her offense with and the variety of attackers she will use.

Rossum took a little jump in the rankings after we saw her at the Prep Dig Minnesota Slam. She has developed into a huge asset for Kandi as Alexandria who can hopefully make a postseason run this year. Rossum is a versatile setter with size that can run a 5-1 or 6-2. She recently announced her commitment to division 2, Wingate.

Addison is an energizer on the court. From her footwork to her defensive movement, she does all the little things right. She is the kind of player who was built to run a 5-1. She has a high volleyball IQ and great mental and physical endurance.

Rossum runs an efficient offense that include her own well-timed and well placed setter dump. She has length and a high reach that she utilizes to jump set and move the ball around quickly. Rossum is also a scrappy defender in the back row and she made some really big plays in their gold pool matches. She does a great job playing tight balls at the net.

Rossum is athletic, quick and smooth on the court. She knows just who to set and which situation they do best in. She has sound defense and a solid serve. Rossum will have some great weapons to utilize this winter and I’ve curious what she will do with them all.

Rossum is a playmaker and one of her impactful skills is blocking. She is also a powerful lefty attacker that can cream the ball from anywhere on the net. She isn’t afraid to ease off the power and go for a great shot placement to get the point for her squad.

Rossum is a strong athletic setter that can move the ball around and aggressively take it herself. She is a threat from the service line, a natural leader, and determined to get the point. Rossum is a strong communicator and can use different speeds and tempos to run her offense.

Rossum kicked off the first 2025 Rankings coming in ranked number 5 overall, but the number 1 setter out of Minnesota. If you haven’t seen her play yet, you really do need to check out her attack. She is a grenade on the court just waiting to go off and string a whole bunch of points. Her teams don’t hesitate to set her on the right in an out-of-system play because she is a very efficient attacker. Rossum is already very strong going into her sophomore year, and with a fast armswing, she will only continue to get better. She is explosive in her approach and has tremendous ball control, whether it is the 1st, 2,nd or 3rd contact. Rossum’s ability to play just about anywhere on the court certainly makes her invaluable. She is incredibly poised as a setter, and her athleticism allows her to get to just about any 2nd ball on the court. She will make Alexandria a challenge for the next 3 years.

. They have been blessed with studly setters in the past. Rossum is an adaptable player who can fill a number of roles. She can take a hard swing with the best of them, put up the big block, or dish to the hot hands. Whatever is needed, she will do.

Rossum is physical, quick, defensive and offensive, no matter where she is on the court. She is a butterfly with a stinger who can adapt to fulfill her team’s needs and can read opposing defenses in order to get the ball to the hot hand. Then sometimes the stinger comes out and she’ll take the ball and drive it home for the point herself. She’s a good size for just about any level program and will be a great addition to any gym.
