The constant in the transition from last year’s team to this one, Joslin is a well-rounded setter. She sets, swings, blocks and digs, the glue holding it all together. Joslin does her best work setting up teammates for clean swings. That starts with being accurate from wherever she receives the pass. Joslin sees the court well, allowing her to identify and exploit holes in the defense. All parts of her game are efficient, and she has a great feel for the sport.

I don’t think I’d scouted Joslin before that I can remember but look forward to watching her game grow. She shows the calmness and steadiness that works well at the setter position. She adds sound skills and an advanced understanding of what she needs to do. Her teammates trust her already and that should only grow. Dike-New Hartford is one of those programs that reloads instead of rebuilding, and Joslin will be a big part of that next year.
